Enable Windows 8 logon screen on Windows 10
You do not have to install another third-party software to reverse the logon screen. A simple Registry tweak can do the job within minutes. Just run your Registry Editor (Press Win+R, type regedit and hit the Enter button) to start making the changes. Before tweaking your registry file, don’t forget to create a backup of your registry files. After that, navigate to the following path in Registry Editor, On the right hand side, you will get a DWORD (32-bit) Value, which is called Threshold.
The default value is 1. You have to make it 0. To do so, just double click on this value, enter 0 and hit the OK button.
Restart your computer and you will see the change when you log on next. To test it, you may press Win+L keys to check out the logon screen.
